Bansko is approved European ski center. The following sport disciplines are practiced in the ski area: alpine skiing, cross country, biathlon, snowboard.
75 kilometers of professionally prepared and properly secured ski runs, as well as 22 kilometers modern lift facilities with great capacity that quickly and conveniently transport skiers to the starting point of each ski run, are available to skiers and snowboarders.
Modern cabin lift – gondola with eight seats, carries skiers from the city up to Banderishka Polyana, with capacity of 2 400 people per hour. 100% of the ski runs are equipped with artificial snow machines, which ensures sufficient snow cover from December to May.
The highest point of the ski center is 2560m, and the lowest 990 m.
The total length of ski runs and ski paths is 75km.
The ski center offers wonderful 15 km long ski path equipped with artificial snow machines and lighting and connecting the high areas of the resort with the city of Bansko.
For the smallest skiers, there is a movable path in the form of merry-go-round, new children trains and children ski-garden. There are facilities for Half-Pipe and Paragliders, Fun-Park.
The resort has repeatedly hosted European alpine ski and biathlon cups.
